Clown Wedding
January 16, 2009These photos are from a Portland, Oregon journalists’ Flickr photostream. He is a photographer that covers the bike scene in the area. There were lots of bikes at this wedding, and the bride and groom rode away on a tandem bicycle. I think the photos he took are really artistic and beautiful. What makes this wedding interesting is the fact that the bride and groom, and all of their guests, dressed up as clowns. They even had mud wrestling. This wedding looks like SO much fun, you just know everyone there had a blast. However, clowns kind of freak me out. I’m not really sure why. I actually found several clown/circus weddings that I will post later, but this one was definitely one of the most unique.

Actually, this one is all kinds of wonderful rather than tacky.
I too am planning a clown wedding. We are older and the whole Church is involved. We plan to use our clown skills by visiting hospice hospitals and cheerig up kids. We will be dressing a little more formal but, tacky formal…….glad to read your website
