Horrible, horrible wedding dress!
September 26, 2008Thanks again to Danelle for finding THIS monstrosity at Fashion-Stylist.net. Designer Jemma Sykes took goodness knows how long to hand knit this piece for a brand called “Butcher Couture”. It even has a name. Call it “The Elizabeth”. As if looking like you’re walking down the aisle in spaghetti wasn’t enough, the designer was kind enough to add a collar to prevent you from chewing at your stitches in case you’ve had recent surgery. Add a plunging neckline, sandbags to your hips and thighs and SHAZAM! This is what you get:
I HAVE tried knitting before, so I can appreciate the time it took to make this, it is definitely avant-garde, but certainly not wearable.

September 10, 2008I would have LOVED to have been a fly on the wall when she purchased this little number. “But I want more nipple showing!! It’s MY day and I’ll flash who I want to!!!” She probably talked about how much she hated her Dad too, because I can’t imagine who gave her away in this. Must have been a helluva reception though, maybe they went to Hooters!
